Privacy Policy

WidgetConnect is a mobile app developed by Mario Pepe (“us”).
The “App” allows you to share images (or photos) with other users that you previously decided to add as your
“Friends”.
WidgetConnect allows you to have said images directly shown in the home screen of your mobile device as a home
screen widget.
In this document you will find a description of how your data are collected, used and shared, by us.
Photos
We do not share or sell any data related to your photos or the photos themselves.
The photos you share with your friends are stored on our servers for your friends to be able to access them.
We do not run any artificial intelligence model on your images.
We do not collect, nor process, the metadata of your images.
We do no try to infer information regarding you or your friends based on the images you upload.
You and your Friends are able to save said images on your own devices (on the local memory, image gallery, etc.). As
such, once an image is sent, it cannot be recalled or deleted from the device of your friend. And we cannot help you
in any way.
Profile Data
The only personal data we ask you regarding yourself is the phone number (necessary for the access to the app) and a
nickname (used to send notifications to your friends such as “JhonDoe85 just sent you a picture”).
This information is not shared with third party, are not used to infer information about you, are not sold for ads
purposes.
Device and App Activity Data
We collect anonymous information regarding crashes and app usage with the sole scope of improving the app experience
and understand which section of the app create the most complexities to our users. These data are never shared nor
sold to third party.
Contacts Data
To use WidgetConnect it is required to grant access to your contacts.
For this reason WidgetConnect is uploading your contact list information to our remote servers.
This makes it possible to add your friends.
We never save your contacts on our servers and we never send them any message nor SMS without your explicit consent.
When you send a friend request we check if the phone number of your friend is already a user of WidgetConnect, if
yes, we send him your friend request, if not, we will give you the chance to send him an SMS to invite your friend
on WidgetConnect. You are of course free not to send any SMS.
Your Rights
You can delete all the data we have about you at any time by navigating to the profile section of the app and
clicking on “Delete Account & Data”.
Children
WidgetConnect is not intended for children.
Changes to this Policy
We may need to change this policy in the future. If we change this policy, we will update the document you are
reading right now, so always access it from the origin. The new version will be available immediately in the app.
